I look at light as a material. It is physical. It is photons. Yes, it exhibits wave behavior, but it is a thing. – James Turrell

Lighting the Way

Welcome to another feature in our "Art of Cooling" series. This week, we’re delighted to introduce Johan from Kootwijkerbroek, Netherlands, whose latest PC build exemplifies the beauty of simplicity in custom PC design. Utilizing the vibrant hues of Aqua Computer DP Ultra Yellow coolant with blue lighting, Johan has masterfully created an eye-catching green and yellow effect that illuminates his setup. In this interview, we delve into Johan’s design process, his choice of components, and how he achieves such stunning visual harmony in his builds. Join us as we explore the artistry behind his clean, simple, yet profoundly striking PC creation.

How did you create the green and yellow effect?

The color is yellow liquid color from DP Ultra Yellow and the blue color of the RGB fans. Looks cool, but easy to create!

What components did you use?

Only reason for this build was the choice of aquacomputer hardware. Case is Phanteks NV5 with Phanteks Premium LED Kit, Bequiet Platinum 1500w PSU, Gigabyte Aorus x670e Master Motherboard, AMD 7900x CPU, Alphacool Core X1 CPU Block, 2x16GB G.Skill AMD EXPO 6000 C30, Gigabyte Aorus 6900xt Waterforce Xtreme, Aquacomputer D5 Next Pump, Heatkiller Tube Reservoir, 2x 360 EKWB radiators, 8x EKWB fans, Aquacomputer Octo Controller, Aquacomputer Farbwerk 360 RGB Controller

What tips would you offer other builders?

Take your time with tubes. No rush!

Congratulations to Johan for winning $100 worth of Aqua Computer gear to further enhance this magnificent build.
